- Family advice line
- Finance and debt information
- Legal advice

1-1 check-ins
Our Relationships Lead checks in with apprentices regularly and provides personalised 1-1 support where necessary. The Relationships Lead is the apprentice’s main point of contact to talk about the apprenticeship, answer questions, or offer support, and offer feedback on the portfolio.
Learners with Additional Needs
- Apprentices with additional learning needs, EHCPs, or under the age of 24 and in care of local authority may be eligible for additional funding to support through apprenticeship - outlined here
- Apprentices will declare any additional learning needs to FAC during their enrolment and we will develop a Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) together before beginning training. The PLP is then shared with employer with the apprentice’s consent during the application process and these documents are routinely reviewed as needed by the Relationships Lead during Tripartite Reviews.
- All apprentices complete ‘Manuals for me’ documentation during 12 week training and this can be shared with employer where necessary to provide insight into preferred ways of working.
- Apprentices may be eligible to apply for Reasonable adjustments during the interview assessment process with BCS if they have an additional learning need. FAC will support apprentices to apply for reasonable adjustments and an additional form must be submitted to the EPA team alongside the other documents required to enter Gateway.
- Apprentices may be also eligible for reasonable adjustments if English is not their first language, as indicated through BCS guidance: ‘If apprentices have been in the country for less than 2 years they are automatically entitled to additional time and the use of a translation dictionary. If they have been in the country for more than 2 years, they would need to take a language test to assess their level of English to determine if they need the additional time and dictionary.’
