Apprentices with Additional Needs
- Apprentices can declare any additional learning needs to FAC before starting their training. Should they wish, FAC can offer a Personalised Learning Plan (PLP), developed in consultation with the apprentice, to ensure any reasonable adjustments are made to ensure they thrive on the apprenticeship.
- FAC can also support apprentices to apply for Reasonable adjustments during the interview assessment process with Accelerate.
Apprenticeship Completion
- We strongly encourage all apprentices to enter gateway by the 15 month mark at the latest.
- If apprentices move beyond the 15 month mark without having submitted their portfolio to enter gateway, the Apprenticeships Lead will support the apprentice and LM to create an action plan which prioritises completion.
- Where necessary, the Apprenticeships Lead may escalate with the employer and seek support from the HR team (or other appropriate personnel), to ensure the apprentice is able to prioritise completing the apprenticeship.
